Book a 25-minute trial class for US$15. I’ll assess your current level, learn about your goals and create a learning plan for you. There’s no commitment to book more lessons afterward.
Your trial payment becomes a US$15 credit toward your first 8- or 16-lesson package. Purchase your package within 14 days after your trial to use it. The credit applies once only and expires after 14 days.
If you decide to continue, you can choose individual 50-minute lessons or a package. Every lesson includes lesson materials and homework; I’ll give feedback on your homework in our next class.

After your trial, choose the program and lesson package that fit your goals. All programs welcome A0–B2 learners. You’re free to continue or stop after the trial.
Every 50-minute lesson includes lesson materials and homework. I’ll review your work and share personalized feedback in your next class.

Interested in learning in a small group?
I plan to open small groups for Spanish for travel, Peruvian heritage and other goals. Each group will have just 3 or 4 learners, with more attractive pricing. Join the interest list and I’ll contact you when a group is being planned.

Your 25-minute trial is US$15. We’ll check your level, discuss your goals and design your learning plan. No commitment to buy a package.
Choose an available trial time below and check your selected time zone. Your reservation is pending payment until I verify it. Payment is currently available through Wise. I’ll email you the Wise payment link and instructions. Payment is due within 24 hours of your reservation.

Pay within 24 hours
Once your time is reserved, pay US$15 through Wise using the payment link I email you. Email your payment receipt, name and trial date to lacey.academy.online@gmail.com.
Receive my confirmation
I’ll verify the payment and email your final trial confirmation. Unpaid reservations will be cancelled after 24 hours so the time can become available again.

No payment is required to join the interest list. In the form, select “Future small-group interest list — no payment now” and your learning goal.
BEFORE YOU BOOK
Lesson changes & cancellations
Notice periods below are counted back from your scheduled lesson start time. They are separate from the 24-hour payment deadline after making a reservation.
Plans can change. Here’s how we can adjust your booking:
- Rescheduling: You’re welcome to reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice, subject to availability.
- Cancellation: Cancel with at least 24 hours’ notice to receive a refund, excluding any non-refundable payment processing fees.
- Less than 24 hours’ notice or a missed lesson: With less than 24 hours’ notice, or if you miss your lesson, the payment is forfeited. No refund, replacement lesson or trial credit is available.
To request a change, email lacey.academy.online@gmail.com with your name and your lesson’s date, time and time zone.

THE TEACHER BEHIND THE LESSONS
Hola, I’m Lacey.
Peruvian educator · Native Spanish speaker
I’m a Peruvian Spanish teacher with a teaching degree, a Master’s in Education and more than 10 years of experience teaching English and Spanish, including in higher education.
Spanish is my first language, and Peru is part of who I am. I bring everyday language and cultural context into our lessons, especially for adults preparing to travel to Peru or hoping to connect with their Peruvian family.
I believe learning works best when you feel seen and supported. I take time to understand your goals, experiences and interests, then adapt our lessons to your pace. You can ask questions, make mistakes and speak without pressure. Over time, our classes become a close, encouraging partnership built around your progress.
My goal is for you to feel more confident using Spanish in the moments that matter to you.

MY PERU, IN MY OWN WORDS
Peru is personal to me.
Although I was born in Lima, my family and friendships connect me with different parts of Peru. My mother is from Marco, a small town in the central highlands of Junín, about eight hours from Lima. My father is from Tingo María, in the rainforest region of Huánuco—and the rainforest is one of my favorite places.
One of my closest university friends is from Cusco. I have visited twice to see her, and I love Andean culture. In Marco, one of the most anticipated celebrations is Carnaval Marqueño: we dance to live band music, join the yunza and share traditional food.
These family ties and friendships shape how I share Peru in class. I love introducing students to the country’s regional diversity and hearing the stories and connections that bring them to Spanish.
